M.I.C / The Master of Inane Conversation
A North London based rapper/activist/occasional producer, M.I.C (shorthand for the Master of Inane Conversation), is pioneering his own brand of "alternative grime music", a sound best exemplified with his most recent release; the acclaimed mini album, "Heaven is Black".
Born in France and raised in south London, Virgil Hawkins is the latest talent to be rising through the ranks of the capital’s hip-hop scene. Having dropped his debut album Milly Rocking to the Wrong Things in March, Hawkins has been championed for his abstract sound and clear artistic flair.
Phonewifey is currently working on a full-length project called 'RAGE QUIT' that combines my usual Soundcloud R'n'B inspired style with sections of Nu-Metal, Black-Metal, Dark-Ambient, Metalcore and Emo. He confesses his intentions of trying to relive being a tween in the early millennium reading Kerrang and Metal Hammer.
Julia Star started as a drag act expressing body anxiety but has now shifted to a hip-hop/electronic music show. Julia uses songwriting to convey her anger and insecurities towards gender stereotypes, hoping to help womxn to find strength to fight patriarchy on a daily basis.
Diva is a French DJ based in Peckham, South London entering the scene with a bright sound touch to lift up the soul. She plays a mix of soulful beats, african rhythms and tropical bass.
10dollarz has been djing since the early age of fifteen and has previously played at Corsica Studios. She is also a model, producer, painter and creative mind in general.
