At the core of the Rye Wax ethos is a desire to shine a light on music that we feel is underrepresented or marginalised within the wider music industry, providing a space for countercultural movements to flourish.

We challenge the idea that record shops are typically exclusive and inaccessible spaces. We endeavour to create new opportunities for participation, inspiration and collaboration, providing a platform to encourage new partnerships. Our aim is to extend our impact beyond our space to showcase the vibrant and creative quarter of south London.
