YOOO! For the first time South of the border the Kenyon Sound fam are bringing the energy to Rye Wax!

Kenyon Sound is a collective of like-minded individuals, friends, DJs & Producers that are gonna blow up your dance.

Coach Matt, SBUERS, Oliver Twist, DJ IYAYI, Tyler B, Raheim, IndexOnDecks, KTAB, Chamber45, Zgjim & FutureCurse.

A Grime project.


Coach Matt

The brains behind the operation. Matt is the driving force behind the label and curates the on goings from the States. Coach Matt has great experience within the music industry with the ownership of several labels and platforms including Classical Trax and JEROME WORLDWIDE. A multi-genre don that brought KS all together.



London based DJ and producer, SBUERS has recently joined the KS family and is already showing why. Having only taken production seriously within the past 6 months, SBUERS has shown what he can do with both his bootleg ability and creation of his own original tracks. SBUERS has featured on radio up and down the country such as Mode FM and LVLZ Radio and is looking to secure his own show as soon as possible. With the intent of carrying on his momentum SBUERS has already created for himself 2019 is looking a very promising for him. With support shown from GRANDMIXXER with plays on Rinse FM of his notorious "BEAT B'DDDBOX" creation as well as others including General Courts it is clear SBUERS is a name you should familiarise yourself with quickly. Expect wicked blends and some wild cuts from SBUERS' high-octane hard drum sets.



Oliver Twist is both a producer and DJ that has recently joined the Kenyon Sound collective. Based in London and Lincolnshire, Oliver Twist has also recently joined the H.M.R.C crew alongside Intentionally Cold and Co. A multi-talented producer with a background in Punk/Metal- Oliver uses this to his advantage allowing it to influence his sound with an arrange of progressive flowing melodies accompanied by hard drum patterns. During his set, Oliver Twist's abilities in the mix should not be slept on! With blends coming from the space age and chops like Bruce Lee, his set is worth catching. Oliver Twist currently holds down a monthly slot on Mode FM, while having his original production played on next to all major stations. A recent release under the Kenyon Sound label titled "Edit Pack #002" is also now available on Bandcamp with a range of Bootlegs that will gas up any party.



Leicester based DJ IYAYI has been slowly on the rise with 2019 looking like a big year of the producer/DJ. With a recent release on the coveted SLIMZOS RECORDINGS, DJ IYAYI looks to use this momentum to elevate himself further in the scene. Having played multiple gigs, racked up countless hours on radio such as Mode FM, NTS & Rinse; DJ IYAYI'S set is one that shouldn't be missed! With a new monthly slot on NTS Radio IYAYI is setting the pace for himself on where he wants to go with his sound. Supported by the likes of GRANDMIXXER, Travis T & DJ Garna- expect hard hitting dubs and spacey melodies to guide you through the night at Rye Wax. Catch his production alias ***** too if you're switched on.



TYLER B has been making his presence known within The Grime Scene for the past 2 years. Having racked up some impressive guests already on his Bristol based show on 1020 Radio, Gillingham's finest TYLER B is one to watch this year. Racking up impressive guests such as EAST MAN, INTENTIONALLY COLD and LOGAN on his show it is not a surprise he is able to attract the likes of these artists with interesting interview segment that shouldn't be missed. With an impressive selection and knowledge of his music his debut set South of the border is one that you'll have to come and take in. Expect a range of dark electronic sounds and a few curve balls that will have you throwing gun fingers all night.



The Wifey riddim specialist. Raheim has been active in the scene for a few years now. His presence on Soundcloud and other platforms have lead to some impressive achievements. Supported by countless artists, this is one London based producer/DJ that you most likely already know about; and if you don't know now is the time! Racking up interviews and guest-mixes with the likes of Snoochie Shy, plays on all major radio stations and releases on major labels such as italdread, yungldn and Far East Sound- Raheim set will have you skanking all night. Expect R&B classics refixed into an 8-bar madness. Don't get caught lackin' and miss this set. A newly found residency on Reprezent Radio along side GRACE covering all things R&G has recently been established allowing Raheim to pioneer his wifey/R&G sound to the next level!



Hailing from South London, Index has music in his blood with his Father being the legendary UKG DJ & producer Sticky. It's no surprise that Index is influenced by his dad and often draws for the classic Garage selection to get the room moving. Index has many stripes of his own however; with his productions supported by the likes of General Courts and DJ Lioness on BBC 1Xtra and Flex FM. Having smashed up his recent Keep Hush set with a bag of MCs, IOD is equipped with the rave gas and waiting to continue his momentum at the KS night on the 26th. Also a part of OTE, Index will catch you off guard with grimey-er selections so come catch this set and 2 step down the front with us.



The Beyblade Champion, meme lord and skengman DJ- Chamber45 is a name you should get to know this year! The re-mastering maestro Chamber 45 is setting himself up for a BIG 2019. Born and based in London, C45 has been steadily making waves within the scene. Keeping his soundcloud active with original tracks and classic bootlegs- Chamber 45 is sure to be on his way to bigger things this year. With guest-mixes on Rinse FM, Mode, Pyro and LVLZ, Chamber is looking to secure his on show in the near future. At just 20, this DJ & Producer has a lot coming his way this year. Expect classic tunes and original pieces accompanied by some mean blends with chops quicker than your local butcher. Already racking up plays from General Courts and others, Chamber 45 recently dropped an edit of DJ CONFLICTS 20/20 remake on an original Kenyon Sound released project that is live on Bandcamp now. Also worth mentioning is his b2b with Oil Gang on Pyro last month- go stream that for a taste of what is to come at Rye Wax!!!



KTAB is an up and coming DJ who emerged onto the scene last year and has not stopped since. He is part of the next wave of young Scottish artists from Glasgow’s growing Grime community that has included Polonis, Rapture 4D, Gallus One and countless others. KTAB, a regular on LVLZ radio holds down a bi-weekly show where he displays his own style and selection as well as hosting new and established Scottish MC’s and DJs. Now apart of the Kenyon Sound crew, KTAB is perfectly positioned to continue progressing as a DJ. KTAB is not one to be be slept on in 2019- having notched up guest-mixes on the likes of Rinse and Mode FM! On the night, expect to see KTAB showcasing his unique blends, selection and technical ability, throughout his high energy set!!


Future Curse

Within the Grime scene, there are few that don't know the name…Future Curse.

He’s been quietly collecting, archiving and mixing Grime since it’s early days, and has firmly established himself within Grime through his relentless support and artistic output for many of the top labels that are active. Future Curse provides art direction & illustration for the foundation Slimzos Recordings as well newer labels such as Mean Streets, Rotpot Records, Dream Eater Records & of course Kenyon Sound. He founded the ‘Future Curse mix series’ a living evolving audio database of contemporary Grime DJ’s and producers on a global scale. It currently features 125+ exclusive Grime mixes with no end in sight! A real G!



Coming from the Netherlands, Zgjim brings his own unique style and sound along with him. A Prominent producer with some major releases on the Kenyon Sound label along with other releases on labels such as his track 'Goodboys' on "Angry Youth". Zgjim is looking to pack a punch this year, his production is dark yet capable of lighting up the rave. This is evident as rising star and Nottingham MC Mez recently rode on "GOLF 5" with the WPF captain Grandmixxer spinning his tunes on deck on NTS.
